Were we randomly transported to the Osmond Variety Hour last night? B/c it sure felt like it!

First things first, congratulations to David Cook!! And by such a large margin! Who would have thought 12 million votes would have separated these 2? I guess it wasn't as close as Ruben and Clay after all.

Let's comment on a few things, shall we?

We get it FOX. So You Think You Can Dance premieres tonight, we get it. Enough with the blatant promotion by having spunky kids stare at the cameras and dance during the group numbers. Unnecessary.

Also unnecessary? Mike Myers plugging his film. Yes, the Mariska Hargitay line was hilarious, however, it was so awkward. Telling David Archuleta about pubic hair straddled the line of creepy, no pun intended.

Brooke White sounded great, Carly & Michael Johns rocked it out, George Michael killed the mood, Donna Summer sounds like she's never aged, Syesha held her own with Seal, and Amanda wanted to be shot in the face.

Anything we're forgetting?



oh and I totally cried. Try not to when David Cook's brother looks to the camera and says "that's my brother". I dare you.
