Do we talk about Susan not being with Mike anymore or do we talk about the mystery of Katharine and Dylan finally being solved?
Well, I think we just spoke about both.
When I first heard about the twist ending, I wasn't sure if it'd be a jump the shark moment. Luckily, I'm intrigued as to how all of this comes about and if Marc and the writers will begin the series anew, with a clean slate. If that's the case, count me in.
Upon watching old episodes of Melrose Place lately, I realized that sometimes soaps just get too long in the tooth. They don't know how to pace themselves and so there are moments of sheer BOREDOM mixed in with high moments of intrigue. Therefore, this is a bit smarter than it looks. Yes, you might not be happy with the fact that Susan is kissing another man at the end of the finale, but would you rather be bored? Being upset is a better response than EH. Plus, do you really think the writers would keep Mike off the show knowing full well how invested the audience is in the couple and show? No. Period. The end.
Katharine and Dylan. We could have seen that coming, however, that shot of Dylan Part 1 under the bookcase=chills. And I loved how all the women stood up for Katharine in her time of need. Great moment.
Another great moment. Bree's low blow with a fast-melting iced cherub. Gotta love seeing a Type A woman breakdown.
What are your thoughts on the finale? Over the show or are you invested?
