Hmm. This smells fishy.
Rebecca Romijn, who plays Alexis Meade on Ugly Betty, will be demoted to recurring status next season. She claims that after the strike, changes were made amongst the writers, and she doesnt' feel that her character could be looked over as much as in the past.
Interesting time for this to come out considering today's Hollywood Reporter runs an article praising ABC for its depiction of transgender characters.
Dang. This stinks. She'll be missed.
